“After 2 years of a lot of investigation for having an exact calculations, I, Arthur Fry with the company of my colleague Spencer Silver, we want to present to the whole world the POST-IT, the stationery paper pad with some sticking on the upper part of the back of the paper.

We have investigated a lot of time for making calculations, but we couldn’t did it. But now, July 28/2011 we finally launch this stationery for give you the easiest way to never forget your meetings, events or compromises.

We had the idea 3 years ago after Spencer and I miss the annual meeting of PaperUSA Inc. and we get expulsed, so we decided to make advanced stationery with our knowledge for people to not have our problem.

Arthur Fry's most important invention: "Post-It"

Art Fry's most important invention was the "POST-IT NOTE", it is a small pad of stationery with re-adherable strip of adhesive on the back. This invention is done for temporarily and/or little notes, reminders or little attached notes on documents.

With the pass of time, Post-It has been gaining a lot of colors, shapes or sizes, but this product is most commonly known by a square-shaped stationery with a dimension of 3 inch. (76 mm) and a canary yellow colour, but know you can find Post-It in orange, green, blue and other colors; a butterfly, a house or things like that are also some shapes of Art's invention.

The Post-It gives us a lot of advantages when need a reminder or somethinglike that because it adhesive on the back let us attached the stationery anywhere that is easy to us to see and remind it.

Post-It Notes were invented by 3M' Art Fry and using and adhesive developed by a colleague called Spencer Silver.

Arthur's biography

Art Fry was born in the 19th August of 1931 in Minessota but he live also in Kansas City and Iowa. He received his first education in a one-room school rural schoolhouse.
During his childhood, he reputedly made his first foray into engineering by building toboggans from scrap lumber. 
He had 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
In 1953 he strated in a company as a "new product developer" and later he'll create the post-it notes.
